The Ramones, “53rd & 3rd”

I’ll be jetting to NYC tomorrow, so it seemed appropriate to post a New York themed song. The quintessential New York punk band, playing a song about a street corner in the city where male prostitutes once congregated. I love the throbbing rhythm which, especially with the repeated refrain, gives this song the air of an ultra-primitive blues rumble. Enjoy!
